The event, titled Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Award 2017, was held on the sidelines of Bogasari EXPO 2017 in Atrium Jogja City Mall on Saturday (9th PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk Bogasari Division again gave awards to SMEs who use wheat flour as its raw material , especially for partner SMEs Bogasari who are members of Bogasari Mitra Card (BMC) membership.

 

The event, titled Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Award 2017, was held on the sidelines of Bogasari EXPO 2017 in Atrium Jogja City Mall on Saturday (9/12). The award is divided into 3 categories, namely Silver, Gold, and Platinum in accordance with BMC membership. This type of membership is differentiated based on consumption of Bogasari flour consumption per month. Platinum membership for consumption of more than 750 sack / month (1 sak = 25 kg); Gold for consumption between 250 - 749 sack / month; and Silver for consumption of less than 250 sacks per month.

 

Initial selection or administrative selection is done by internal Bogasari. Furthermore, the selection as a nominee conducted by trusted institutions such as the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Bank BTPN, and Prasetiya Mulia Business School. From the assessment of the jury obtained 5 nominees for each category.

 

The 15 nominees of SME Award 2017 are spread from several cities throughout Indonesia, ranging from Medan, Payakumbuh, Pekanbaru, Lampung, Jakarta, Bekasi, Bandung, Sukabumi, Pasuruan, Lumajang, Surakarta, Jogjakarta, Kediri, Jombang, to Jember. Various areas that are nominated for SME Award 2017 show that SMEs that are in the region start to show off and show business development in each region.

 

For the Silver category was won by UD Valmay from Yogyakarta producing dried noodles with Mie Alamie brand. Its products have spread all over Indonesia, even to Australia with online ordering system. While 4 other nominees are Kitchen Donat Honey from Jakarta, Pia Kacang HM from Sukabumi, Mila Bakery from Bekasi, and Bakpao Liong Yen from Surakarta.

 

For the category of Gold won by UD Purnama Jati who developed a typical Jember-based food tape. The product is well known throughout Jember because it is a typical souvenir of Jember, namely Prol Tape. 4 other nominees are Mie Cahaya from Payakumbuh, King Banana from Jombang, UD Tiga Putra from Lumajang, and Bakpia Latief from Kediri.

 

While for the category of Platinum won by Mawar Bakery & Cake from Medan. This SME produces products of various types of bread and cake, where in a month Rose Bakery & Cake consume 1450 zinc wheat flour and Blue Chakra Twin. For 4 other nominees are Roti CA from Lampung, Roti Sri Rejeki from Bandung, Mami Pia & Cookies from Pasuruan, and Mie Musbar from Pekanbaru.

 

As a form of appreciation from the growth of these SMEs, Bogasari prepared rewards and prizes of 20 million rupiah for each winner of each category, and 7.5 million rupiah for the SMEs who became nominees in each category. ***
