PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk Bogasari Division held a Baking Demo for members of Purwakarta Cooking Hall and the surrounding community. The event was held in Cilandak Village Head Office, Cibatu Subdistrict, Purwakarta on Saturday (23/12). About 60 people attended the multipurpose hall that transformed into a demo room making bread. Despite the hot and hot sunshine, the surrounding community and members of the Lapu Kue community are excited to take part in events after the baking demo.

According to the founder and CEO of Purwakarta Lapuch Community, Budi Irawan, this Cilandak Village resident still lacks knowledge about cake menus that can be sold in the market because until now sold by the community around only simple cakes, such as fried foods, donuts, cake. Budi hopes with the presence of Bogasari, it can provide new knowledge for the participants who attended this event.

While the Village Head who doubles as the Chairman of PKK Cilandak Village, Lusi Septiani, adding with the baking demo event from Bogasari, the mothers who present not only able to make new cake and bread recipes, but in the future can be a livelihood to supplement the income for every household.

In baking demo this time, Chef Babun from Bogasari Baking Center Jakarta presents recipe Steam Orange Cake and Cheese Lilit Donat. Serious faces were visible from the attendees, where every instruction from Chef Abun was noticed and some of the participants seemed to take notes in her recipe book.

About the Pursefish Cake Community
Purwakarta cake community is not even 1 year, which was established on January 4, 2017 and until now there are 18 members of the community who daily open a business selling cakes and bread spread at some point around Purwakarta, Cikampek, there is even one member who opened lapaknya in Poltangan Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

The simple concept of a cookie cake program is to call people around the stalls, especially unproductive mothers and teenagers by collecting processed housewives around the stalls managed in an integrated consignment system. The mothers who leave their products free to create healthy and hygienic pastries worth selling. In fact, some of the profits from the sale are used to prosper places of worship around the stalls.

Lapis Cake is open every day starting at 04:40 pm and closed at 09.30 WIB. While in the holy month of Ramadan is open from 16:00 until 18:00 pm. ***
